Herzig Engineering acquires Canada Training Group to expand arc flash studies, electrical safety training, infrared inspections, and reliability services throughout the United States and Canada.

Herzig Engineering, a leading provider of electrical safety and reliability services, has announced the acquisition of Canada Training Group (CTG), one of Canada’s most respected providers of electrical safety training, Arc Flash Studies, and Infrared Electrical Inspections. CTG will continue operating under its established brand as Canada Training Group – A Herzig Company.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone in Herzig Engineering’s growth, backed by Copley Equity Partners, and follows the company’s earlier acquisition of Martin Technical in February 2026. Together, these moves establish Herzig Engineering as a comprehensive electrical safety platform serving North America from coast to coast.
